The security deposit holds placed on the credit card are released when the contract is closed, since the contract cannot be closed if the deposits have not been released. However, some banking institutions may not reflect the release automatically. When this happens, you must contact the reservations department at +52 1 998 242 2590 to request a release letter indicating to the issuing bank that the held amount has already been released by us and that it is up to the bank to complete the release.

Your visit to Cancun can be a good opportunity to choose a comfortable and affordable car. We recommend considering the vehicle capacity so you and your companions can travel comfortably and safely.
The main road for Riviera Maya routes allows for comfortable driving, but special care should be taken, as there are frequent police checkpoints. The maximum speed is 110 km/h, although some sections of this road have a 70 km/h limit. Meanwhile, roads in the city center have limits of 40 km/h, and in the Hotel Zone, 60 km/h.
Gas stations are well located throughout the city, both downtown and in the Hotel Zone, as well as along Route 307, which connects Cancun with Tulum. However, it is usually better to fill up at stations located downtown, as they tend to be cheaper and are commonly used by residents. The price is around €0.75/l for gasoline and €0.81/l for diesel, slightly higher than in other parts of the country.
You may request a refund for your prepaid rental up to 72 hours before your rental date.
By booking a car before your trip, you can choose the type of vehicle you prefer. You will also have the opportunity to compare offers and additional services in advance so you can choose the option that best suits you. That way, when you arrive, you only need to pick up your keys and start enjoying your trip. You also avoid having to choose a provider once you are already at the destination, as well as reading the rental company’s terms and conditions at the counter. Without a doubt, it can help you avoid stressful moments.
